This year, women all over the world celebrate the 100 years of commemorating Women’s International Day (March 8). Many events and activities are take place around the globe to celebrate the achievement of women. In order to celebrate the 100 years of Women’s International Day, this year theme is about Access to Education which highlights that gender equality and women’s empowerment are fundamental to the global mission in achieving equal rights and dignity for all.

Patriarchal domination castrates woman's right to determine the sovereignty of her sexuality. This is related to the existence of unequal power relations, which favor the dominance of male sexuality than female sexuality.  WRI conducted a series of capacity building activities to develop the knowledge sector in the form of “Training Methodology for the Development of Feminist Knowledge”' as a continuation of the previous capacity building program entitled “Gender Analysis Training”.
Feminist methodology becomes very important because it can help and provides a framework for those working and paying attention to women's issues. This method reminds us to appreciate the diversity of views and opinions and that there is no absolute truth to everything. More |

 Women Research Institute (WRI) aims to promote and strengthen the capacity of local researchers to establish extensive research community, particularly in the regions. Therefore, WRI organizes a series of capacity building activities in developing the knowledge sector in the form of ‘Gender Analysis Training’.
This capacity building program aimed to reinforce the mastery of gender analysis skills to review research findings as well as women's issues and/or other gender for high quality research results and to provide input to decision-makers. More |
