Promoting women leadership and inclusive,
gender-based, and sustainable natural resource governance

Women Research Institute (WRI) works in partnership with Program Representasi (ProRep). ProRep is a four-to-five project on democracy and governance from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).


Its aim is to connect people, experts, and policymakers to improve public policies and representation by strengthening civil society organizations (CSO), supporting the development of public policy research, and aiding legislative and policymaking processes to become more effective, transparent and representative of citizens’ interests. ProRep is working to enhance civic participation, the application of policy research and analysis, and collaboration among, and effectiveness of, actors who involved in policy processes.
