Ayu Anastasia has been interested to involve in research related to issues of women and children. She involved in some research conducted by the Center for the Study and Protection of Children (PUSKA PA), Department of Criminology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. Ayu also involved as a research assistant in a research project entitled “Establishing Penitentiaries and Prisons that are Sensitive of Special Experience and Needs of Women” in February 2011.

After earning a bachelor degree from the Department of Criminology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia in September 2011, Ayu has been involved in a joint-research project of PUSKA PA and the Ministry of Social Affairs entitled “Monitoring and Evaluation of Child Welfare Program.” Her passion on research and women’s issues has brought Ayu to become a researcher of the Women Research Institute, a research organization concerned with women issues that emphasized on feminism.***
