After she was graduated from college in 1989, Dewi working on insurance company as a marketing staff. Then in 1992-1994 she worked at consultant company as administrative staff.
In 1996 Dewi started working with Women Legal Aid in Padang, West Sumatra, as a lawyer assistant. Afterwards in 2003, she switched to work with a food business company in the financial section.
Started February 2006, she has been working in Women Research Institute.***
