Researcher
Civita Patriana obtained her Master’s degree from the London School of Economics’ Gender Institute in 2015. Throughout her studies, she has actively joined numerous regional and international events and conferences where she talked about and joined discussions on topics such as feminism, human rights, education for all, leadership, Southeast Asia’s society and culture, Indonesian literature, and Indonesian studies.
Her areas of interest range from women’s rights, women’s empowerment, humanitarian work, feminist movement, women’s political participation, prevention and response to gender-based violence, global affairs, to social justice.
In 2016, she rejoined Women Research Institute as a researcher, sharing WRI’s goals to promote women’s leadership and participation in development.***
